Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced journalist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in news gathering and story production, with excellent research skills and demonstrated editorial judgement.

The successful candidate will be responsible for generating and contributing original story ideas, researching story material, identifying suitable sources, and arranging and conducting interviews to support own and others' output.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Writing, compiling, and presenting accurate, concise, and clear stories using a creative and original approach across platforms on a daily basis
  • Proactively generating and contributing original story ideas to the discussion with newsroom leadership teams
  • Researching story material, identifying suitable sources, and arranging and conducting interviews to support own and others' output

The role requires a creative self-starter with proven ability in breaking stories that can bring complex issues to life. Accomplished presentation skills for all multi-media programming, including for Q&As and live coverage, are essential. Strong digital news writing skills are also required, as well as experience working in a cross-platform filing environment.
