About this Key Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic leader to spearhead our secretariat operations, driving evidence-based policy development and advocacy across the disability and development sectors.

As a Senior Policy and Advocacy Officer, you will be responsible for crafting compelling policy positions, representing our organization at government levels, and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders. Your role will involve leading cross-sector collaborations, developing impactful advocacy strategies, and ensuring seamless operational management.

This is a hybrid position requiring 2 days of in-office work per week, with flexible arrangements to support work-life balance. We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds and individuals with lived experience of disability.

  • Develop and implement our multi-year strategic plan and annual workplan
  • Represent us externally at conferences and meetings
  • Manage our operational affairs
  • Grow relationships with key stakeholders in government and development sectors
  • Undertake targeted advocacy efforts
  • Facilitate opportunities for members to engage and collaborate
