Job Overview

The role of an Engineer Specialist involves supporting the preparation of financial and technical submissions for tendering activities. This encompasses revising costs and managing recommendation documentation related to refrigeration and air conditioning installation for retail sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day procurement of refrigeration equipment.
  • Develop a strategic approach to tendering for refrigeration investments.
  • Determine the scope and specifications of contracts.
  • Ensure engineering design intent is maintained throughout scoping and tendering activities.
  • Coordinate tendering activities in alignment with construction schedules.
  • Prepare accurate and timely tender scopes and submissions.
  • Oversee Safety, Time, Cost, and Quality for refrigeration, HVAC, and engineering scope of works.
Requirements:
  • Hold a trade qualification or relevant tertiary qualifications in an engineering or science discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in Construction projects.
  • Possess a General Construction Industry White Card.
  • Ability to read and understand construction drawings, specifications, and CAD plans.
