Gordon Brothers has joined the JCI family and as we continue to innovate and grow, we are looking for a motivated Refrigeration Technician to join the team in our Melbourne branch. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for the right person. We are looking for a person who is self-motivated and reliable, flexible in outlook, creative, and can think outside the square to keep jobs running smoothly.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned and unplanned service and maintenance on industrial refrigeration systems
  • Accurate and timely completion of required paperwork related to work performed
  • Fostering and maintaining professional working relationships with our customers
  • Actively participate in all company-facilitated training and service meetings as required
Applicants Are Required To Possess
  • Be a qualified or experienced Refrigeration Mechanic
  • Current valid driver's licence
  • Current Restricted Electrical licence
To be successful for this role you ideally will have
  • Previous experience in industrial refrigeration
  • Strong work ethic
  • Excellent written and verbal skills
  • Proven ability to work individually and in a team
  • Ability to work without supervision
  • Will be willing to work flexible hours, manage time and meet deadlines
  • Ammonia experience preferred but not essential
  • Positive and proactive approach to safety
