Director of Business Performance

About Our Client

Hassett Logistics is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Business Performance to join their executive leadership team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and profitability through effective financial planning and analysis.

About The Role

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial leadership, with experience in managing complex financial systems, processes, and teams. You will be responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability, while maintaining governance standards and ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
  2. Provide financial guidance to the Managing Director and executive leadership team.
  3. Manage complex financial systems, processes, and teams.
  4. Maintain governance standards and ensure compliance with statutory requirements.
  5. Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Skills, Qualifications & Experience

  1. CA/CPA qualification with extensive experience in financial leadership, ideally as a CFO or Head of Finance.
  2. Deep expertise in the retail and apparel industry (essential).
  3. Strong commercial acumen, with experience in cost management, profitability drivers, and strategic financial planning.
  4. Proven success in influencing and engaging with executive leadership, board members, and key stakeholders.
  5. Experience in a privately owned business or family-group portfolio is highly regarded.
  6. A hands-on, solutions-driven approach, with the ability to operate both strategically and operationally.
