Job Role:

 

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Metal Fabrication Specialist to join our production team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for fabricating, assembling and welding thin gauge metal components to various specifications.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 • Fabricate and assemble metal components using MIG and TIG welding techniques

 • Clean and polish metal components to exacting standards

 • Inspect completed welds for quality and accuracy

 • Make adjustments as necessary using grinders or cutting tools

 • Fit components together using jigs and special hardware

 • Operate machinery such as beam saws, routers and edge banders

 • Conduct quality control checks on own work

 • Complete required paperwork accurately and efficiently

 

Requirements:

 

To be successful in this role, you will need:

 • Equivalent work experience in a related field

 • Strong technical skills and attention to detail

 • Ability to read workshop drawings and operate sheet metal machinery

 • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

 • Ability to work independently and follow direction

 • Willingness to adhere to safety procedures and wear personal protective equipment
