**Job Opportunity:**

Are you skilled in the art of metal shaping? We are looking for a highly experienced Metal Fabrication Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for operating press brake machines to shape various types of metal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate complex machinery such as press brake machines to manufacture tools, equipment, and other components from sheet metal or metal plates.
  • Perform manual handling tasks including lifting weights up to 20 kilograms, bending, twisting, standing, moving trolleys, and loading/unloading equipment.
  • Follow all reasonable directions and instructions, manage your own time and processes to meet production schedules, and maintain a clean and tidy workspace.
  • Inspect metal while shaping it and make adjustments as needed, read customer drawings and set up the machine accordingly.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in metal fabrication is essential, preferably as a Press Brake Operator.
  • A current Australian forklift license is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of sheet metal materials is required.
  • Quality checking of parts and dimensions is crucial.
  • Ability to read and interpret folded drawings.
  • Punctual, reliable, dedicated, and hardworking individuals only need apply.

Working Arrangements:

  • Available shifts include Day Shift: 7am-3pm, Monday-Friday, Afternoon Shift: 3pm-11pm, Monday-Friday (15% shift loading), and Night Shift: 11pm-7am, Sunday-Thursday (30% shift loading).
