The Opportunity

You will be a key player in enabling our next phase of growth as an Accounting Professional. The successful applicant will become an integral part of the broader team and have at least two years' experience in a similar position.

Responsibilities

Preparing BAS and statutory lodgements

Carrying out monthly accounts reconciliations and financial statement preparation

Performing bookkeeping duties such as accounts payable and accounts receivable

Working on projects to drive success for our organisation

Participating in company events, training sessions and team meetings

Data processing tasks for clients

Creating management reports using accounting software

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Experience in a chartered accountancy firm is highly desirable
  • Possess a Certificate IV in bookkeeping/accounting or a bachelor's degree in accounting
  • Proven working experience with accounting software, specifically; APS, MYOB, Xero and Quickbooks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Committed to providing exceptional service to our clients
  • Proactive, self-motivated and enthusiastic
