As a Freight Ground Crew member at the Qantas Group, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and exciting industry with opportunities for career progression. You will be responsible for the manual handling of freight, loading and unloading aircraft, operating forklifts, tugs and heavy machinery, and lodging freight documents into the Warehouse System (iCargo).

This role involves working in different areas of the Freight department, including Domestic and International, looking after our customers' freight. You could be moving anything from beloved pets and animals to machinery, dangerous goods and packages.

To succeed in this role, you'll need a current and valid provisional or full state or territory driver's license, a current and valid forklift license or willingness to obtain it at your own expense, the ability to repetitively lift items up to 32 kgs in weight, and the ability to work all shifts in our dynamic 24-hour, 7 day a week, rotational shift roster.

We estimate the salary for this position to be around $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
