Production Management Role

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing shift supervision and management of people and equipment to achieve desired output and efficiency from the manufacturing process during the shift, at the required quality level.

Key duties and responsibilities include:

  • Manage production staff, training and leading teams to reach optimal performance.
  • Assist in the day-to-day running of production operations ensuring all tasks are completed on time.
  • Oversee customer orders to guarantee timely completion.
  • Promote Quality Assurance/Quality Control requirements across all production areas.
  • Maintain OSH&E systems and promote safety awareness.
  • Manage production equipment maintenance and inventory control.
  • Develop strategies to improve branch production efficiencies and maintain product standards.
  • Contribute to the development and induction of new team members.
  • Ensure scheduled maintenance programs are implemented daily, weekly, and monthly.
  • Support Branch Managers in maintaining a positive workplace culture through example and leadership.

This role requires an individual with a Trade Certificate III in Engineering or similar, experience as a Production Supervisor, and excellent leadership skills.

Essential qualifications include:

  • Trade Certificate III in Engineering (or similar)
  • Previous supervision experience in Laser cutting industry/Mfg environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Organisational and planning abilities
