Medical Support Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care and support, ensuring a seamless experience for patients and colleagues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage reception duties, appointment scheduling, and patient administration with efficiency and care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, referrers, and colleagues via phone, email, or in-person.
- Report to the Office Manager and work closely with the team to provide excellent customer service.
- Maintain accurate records and files while adhering to confidentiality and privacy policies.
Requirements:
- Available to work Monday to Friday, with rotating shifts between 7:45am and 6:30pm.
- Friendly, professional, and customer-focused, with a passion for patient care.
- Experience in a reception or customer service role, ideally in a medical setting.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to multitask and stay organised.
- Detail-oriented with a proactive and adaptable approach to work.
- A team player who supports both patients and colleagues.
- Good computer skills, with an understanding of medical imaging terminology being a plus.
