Job Description:

The Factory Controller plays a pivotal role in the Factory Leadership Team, serving as a trusted advisor to the Factory Manager. Key responsibilities include continually seeking cost improvements through analysis and reporting, ensuring adherence to financial regulations, and validating project completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Seek and present cost improvement opportunities
  2. Validate and review projects for completion and savings realization
  3. Understand key factory cost drivers and variances in SAP reports
  4. Coordinate accurate cost reporting for Period-end Close (PEC)
  5. Provide early warning for major cost deviations
  6. Participate in business planning and develop input assumptions for Standard Cost Budget (SCB) and Dynamic Forecast (DF)
  7. Develop, control, and ensure robust evaluations of capital investment plans
  8. Ensure clear control and visibility of assets and liabilities
  9. Cultivate and implement internal controls
  10. Coach and develop factory finance personnel
Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need strong leadership skills, the ability to adapt to fast-paced changes, and a passion for data-driven decision-making. A degree in Finance is essential, along with 5+ years of experience in commercial financial areas, including costing, distribution, and decision support.

  • Experience in Manufacturing Costing, preferably within a factory or supply chain environment
  • CA/CPA qualification or equivalent desirable
  • Understanding of FMCG industry and excellent Excel, SAP, and reporting tools knowledge
  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
