About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Solicitor to join our team as a Statewide Legal Adviser. This is a key role within our organization, and we are looking for someone who can provide expert legal advice and support to our Child Protection team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide authoritative advice on complex legal and practice issues
  • Collaborate with departmental colleagues to deliver high-quality client-focused legal services
  • Lead and drive effective liaison with solicitors, barristers, court/tribunal staff, and other government departments and agencies
Requirements
  • Ability to work collaboratively and in partnership with Legal Services Branch, the Statewide Child Protection Litigation Office, and the OPP
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to provide high-level briefings and court-related professional development to Child Protection
