About The Role

This project supports participants to gain nationally recognised skills and vocational qualifications, a potentially life-changing step. As a Support Officer, you will support participant recruitment, non-accredited work readiness training, and project reporting. You will also develop individual training and personal development support plans to enhance participants' opportunities to complete training and access employment.

  • Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Support participant recruitment and non-accredited work readiness training
  • Develop individual training and personal development support plans
  • Liaise with partner organisations and local employers to maximise employment and training outcomes
You Will Bring To The Role

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Certificate IV or equivalent experience within Community Services, Employment Services, Training or a similar sector
  • An understanding of the labour market and the issues faced by participants when planning to enter or return to the workforce
  • A sense of resilience and empathy to work with participants experiencing complex barriers
Requirements

In order to be considered for this role, you must have:

  • The right to work in Australia
  • A current Working with Children Check
  • A willingness to undertake a specific 'Fit2Work' Police Check
