Senior Communications Specialist, Department of Industry, Science and Resources

The Department of Industry, Science and Resources is seeking a skilled and experienced Communications Officer to join our Internal Communication and Creative Services team.
In this role, you will work collaboratively with our team to develop and execute comprehensive, fit-for-purpose internal communication strategies that support departmental business objectives.
Responsibilities will include:
- Writing and editing content for our internal communication channels, including the department intranet, digital boards, and videos.
- Ensuring integrity through accuracy and consistency of messaging, responsiveness, timeliness, and quality output.
- Providing best-practice strategic communication advice and support to clients.
- Supporting and implementing internal communication strategies for departmental priorities.
- Managing a busy inbox and contributing to creating and fostering a positive team culture.
