About the Role

Business Analyst – Strategic Asset Management | Utilities

Tech People Australia is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our team in the utilities sector. As a key member of our Operating Model Program, you will play a critical role in enhancing our client's strategic asset management capabilities.

In this role, you will collaborate with the Stream Lead to drive the development and execution of project plans, process improvements, and other initiatives central to establishing a strategic asset management framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Analysis and Improvement: Conduct comprehensive analysis of business processes and systems, documenting insights and recommending improvements to enhance performance and support organisational goals.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with stakeholders to ensure the consistency and quality of processes, tools, and standards within the asset management program.
  • Business Data Analysis: Gather, analyse, and interpret business data to generate actionable insights for informed decision-making.
  • Change Management: Collaborate with the Change Manager and Implementation Lead to support change management, training, and skill-building efforts across teams.
Requirements
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience in business process mapping, process improvement, and stakeholder engagement within a complex organisation.
  • Analytical and Documentation Skills: Strong analytical and documentation skills, with the ability to produce high-quality process maps, user guides, and presentations.
  • Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to influence and work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Background in Asset Management: Background in Asset Management or experience in a utility environment is highly desirable.
