Dementia Education Opportunity

Seeking a dedicated educator to deliver high-quality dementia education programs and contribute to impactful research in the field of dementia care, cause, and prevention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to achieving strategic objectives through effective teaching and research practices.
  • Develop and conduct high-quality research with national and international impact, secure external funding, publish findings, and supervise research students.
  • Deliver exceptional undergraduate and postgraduate coursework teaching, managing course content and structure as needed.
  • Provide academic leadership, fostering outstanding research and learning and teaching excellence.
  • Establish productive links within the University and with local, national, and interdisciplinary communities, professions, and industries.

Requirements:

  • A PhD or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • A strong research record with national recognition, notable contributions to dementia research, high-quality publications, conference presentations, and success in securing external funding.
  • Demonstrated achievement in University-level teaching and learning.
  • Effective contributions to building and maintaining productive links locally and nationally with the discipline, profession, industry, and wider community.
