Job Overview

As an Operations Manager, you will oversee daily transport movements and ensure everything runs safely, efficiently, and on time.

You will be responsible for supervising day-to-day transport operations, including planning and allocating loads, ensuring all movements meet Chain of Responsibility (COR), load restraint, mass management, and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily transport operations, including planning and allocating loads.
  • Ensure all movements meet COR, load restraint, mass management, and compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate with the warehouse to deliver seamless service for freight movements.
  • Manage subcontractors and support drivers with guidance and feedback.
  • Monitor driver performance, compliance, and vehicle productivity.
  • Respond to incidents, conduct investigations, and prepare reports.
  • Maintain accurate records including run sheets, axle weights, delays, and vehicle compliance.

About You

To succeed in this role, you should have experience in managing fleet and subcontractor operations, strong knowledge of transportation regulations, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and confidence with technology.
