Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Operational Management Specialist to join our leadership team.

The ideal candidate will have postgraduate qualifications in a related field, such as business or commerce, and at least 4 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role. Prior experience in a veterinary, medical or allied health clinical environment would be highly regarded.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who shares our vision of delivering exceptional patient care. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing strategic support to frontline teams
  • Promoting high standards of patient care and safety
  • Fostering relationships with referring veterinarians and stakeholders
  • Leading financial planning and reporting for the hospital
  • Coordinating projects within the hospital
  • Developing and implementing marketing strategies

You will work closely with our QLD Operations team, hospital Veterinarians, nurses, technical staff and support teams to ensure alignment and promotion of our business goals.

Your Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need excellent problem-solving, decision-making and organisational skills, with experience using the MS Office suite, especially Excel. Knowledge of RX Works and SmartFlow would be desirable, as well as project management experience.
