An exciting opportunity is available for a Leading Hand to take charge of our Customer Delivery team in a dynamic environment. This role is pivotal in ensuring that service delivery aligns with operational timelines and safety protocols.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing and coordinating team members within the Customer Delivery division.
- Ensuring that productivity and performance standards are achieved in your area of responsibility, including regular performance evaluations.
- Assisting in the supervision of catering vehicles to guarantee timely and safe loading for all aircraft.
- Leading by example while performing all Driver duties.
- Training and onboarding new team members in your designated area.
- Organizing and managing workflows within your assigned work area.
- Carrying out administrative tasks and reporting as necessary.
- Addressing any discrepancies and ensuring accurate flight deliveries.
To excel in this role, you will need:
- Demonstrated leadership, decision-making, and organizational skills to effectively meet performance expectations in a dynamic work setting.
- A hands-on approach with the ability to lead by example.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- A valid ASIC card and an Australian state/territory MR or greater driver's license, along with airside driving authority.
- A Fork Lift license is preferred but not mandatory.
- First Aid certification and WHS qualifications are advantageous.
- Flexibility to work around flight schedules is essential.
- A clean Police Record as part of mandatory checks.
