About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Software Quality Engineer to join our team at NICE.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement quality control strategies to ensure software quality throughout the development life cycle.
  • Plan, design, and execute functional, performance, and security tests to identify defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test suites, including functional, regression, and performance tests.
  • Conduct manual testing when necessary, identifying defects and ensuring thorough test coverage.
  • Identify and document defects, collaborate with teams to resolve them, and ensure continuous improvement of the product.
  • Participate in design and code reviews, advocating for best practices in quality assurance.
  • Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies, contributing to process enhancement initiatives.
Requirements

Education and Experience

  • Associate of Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 3 – 6 years of experience in software development.
  • Proven track record of designing and executing test strategies for complex software projects.
  • Proficiency in test automation frameworks and tools (e.g. JUnit, Cypress).
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, testing levels (unit, integration regression, etc.).
  • Experiences with version control systems and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Skill in collaborating with development teams, designers, and other departments to ensure tests align with business objectives.
