About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Investigator Director to join our team within the Criminal Investigations Branch of the Australian Fair Work Ombudsman.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in leading investigations and will be responsible for shaping the culture and work practices of the area.

This is a high-profile role with significant responsibilities, including:

  • Leading intelligence-led investigations to a criminal standard of proof
  • Delivering full briefs of evidence to support prosecution
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to establish systems, processes, and policies for effective operation as a dual civil and criminal regulator

Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you must have:

  • A current Australian Government Security Clearance or be willing to undergo and obtain a Baseline security clearance
  • Strong leadership and investigation skills
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with a high level of scrutiny

Salary

The estimated annual salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 AUD.
