Are you passionate about giving back to your community? Do you have a heart for visiting the elderly and bringing joy to their lives?

HammondCare is seeking volunteers who can visit an elderly lady living in her own home. She would love to meet someone who speaks Polish or Ukrainian, and share stories or simply enjoy each other's company over a cup of tea.

As a social visitor, you will be matched with clients who are looking for companionship and friendship. Your visits will not only bring happiness to the client but also enrich your own life through meaningful connections and experiences.

This volunteer role involves visiting clients on a regular basis, either weekly or fortnightly, at a time that suits you. You will need to commit to visiting your assigned client for at least one hour per week.

  • National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare
  • 18 years or older
