Project Manager Role

About the role

The Project Manager will be responsible for leading project delivery for a high-profile infrastructure project in Perth, Western Australia.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring key construction milestones to identify and mitigate program risks
  • Analyzing subcontractor resources to ensure optimal utilization and continuity of work
  • Conducting thorough analysis and resolution of complex issues pertaining to design, construction, program, completion, materials, and commercial aspects
  • Liaising with internal and subcontractor stakeholders to gather key data and insights
  • Collaborating with logistics specialists to forecast material requirements and identify potential supply chain risks
  • Presenting project plans and progress updates at regular client meetings and addressing concerns related to project delivery

About you

We are seeking an experienced candidate with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar project management position, preferably within the construction or engineering sector.

Successful applicants will possess the following skills:

  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced project environments
  • Strong interpretive skills for engineering and survey drawings
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interfacing with subcontractors and clients
  • Good understanding of telecommunications infrastructure, including pit and pipe and aerial optic fibre networks
  • Sound knowledge of project financial management principles
