Endpoint Engineering Manager Role

This leadership position is responsible for guiding the Endpoint Engineering team, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and implementing best practices.

The successful candidate will be accountable for driving a high-performance culture within the team, overseeing daily operations, and validating maintenance of client risk and issues registers.

Additionally, they will provide governance to all implementations and changes affecting the end-user SOE environment, ensure best practice support methodologies are implemented, and drive shift-left initiatives.

  • Provide technical leadership and help drive a high-performance culture within the team.
  • Leading automation efforts, driving improvements and efficiencies, and overseeing daily operations of the Endpoint Engineering team with minimal supervision from management.
  • Validate and assist in the maintenance of the client's risk and issues registers.
  • Provide governance to all implementations and changes affecting the end-user SOE environment and ensure best practice support methodologies are implemented.
  • Assist with and drive the identification and implementation of shift-left initiatives.
  • Identify improvements/project revenue opportunities within new accounts and/or contribute to the Service Improvement register for existing clients.

The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of supporting customers across an outsourced delivery environment, previous operational management experience within a Managed Services Environment, excellent financial knowledge, and knowledge of hardware and software vendors' support processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Comprehensive understanding of supporting customers across an outsourced delivery environment.
  • Previous operational management experience within a Managed Services Environment.
  • Excellent understanding of financials surrounding profit and loss.
  • Knowledge of Hardware and Software Vendors support processes, including product Lifecycles.
  • Advanced End User management knowledge.
  • Modern and traditional End Point Device Management Solutions (SCCM, Intune, AutoPilot, and other MDM/endpoint management solutions).
  • Microsoft Operating System Configuration & Deployment (Win10- Win11).
  • Collaboration Platforms (Teams for Business, Planner).
