The team designs, builds, supports, and continuously improves end user solutions end to end, enabling our customers to transform their business and modernise their end user experience.The Endpoint Engineering Operations Manager is responsible for leading a team of Endpoint Engineering Specialists within the Intelligent Workspace group to ensure best practice support methodologies are executed, technical experience leveraged and to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.Our offices are based in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Adelaide and Perth.

What You'll DoAt the moment, as Endpoint Engineering - Operations Manager you will be focused on:Provide technical leadership and help drive a high performance culture within the team.Leading automation efforts, driving improvements and efficiencies, and overseeing daily operations of the Endpoint Engineering team with minimal supervision from management.Validate and assist in the maintenance of the client's risk and issues registersProvide governance to all implementations and changes affecting the end user SOE environment and ensure best practice support methodologies are implemented.Assist with and drive the identification and implementation of shift left initiativesIdentify improvements/project revenue opportunities within new accounts and/or contribute to the Service Improvement register for existing clientsEnsure project design principals result in service improvements, efficiencies and/or cost reductions for the customer/Datacom post implementationWe are a pretty agile company, and are keen to respond to customer, technology and internal stakeholders' changing requirements and this can mean we evolve in our roles to meet those needs.What You'll BringRequired Experience:Comprehensive understanding of supporting customers across an outsourced delivery environmentPrevious operational management experience within a Managed Services EnvironmentExcellent understanding of financials surrounding profit and lossKnowledge of Hardware and Software Vendors support processes, including product LifecyclesAdvanced End User management knowledgeModern and traditional End Point Device Management Solutions (SCCM, Intune, AutoPilot, and other MDM/endpoint management solutions)Microsoft Operating System Configuration & Deployment (Win10- Win11)Collaboration Platforms (Teams for Business, Planner)Exceptional interpersonal skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skills in both a technical and non-technical formatAbility to operate under limited directionExcellent time management and organizational skillsExcellent delegation skills clearly outlining expectations and accountabilityAbility to interface with all levels of management both internal and externalAbility to build a cohesive team and work with large teams.Nice to have:Beginner Level Project Management principles, and/or Project ManagementAbility to work with customers to conduct discovery tasks to support project engagementsM365 Stack exposureAzure Virtual Desktop experienceApple OS support and project experienceITIL CertificationsWhy join us here at Datacom?
