Transport Engineering Professional

As a transport engineer with our advisory team, you will partner with clients to provide transportation solutions for the community. Based in Melbourne, you will work on various projects providing accurate and efficient transportation engineering services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze traffic and parking data using Excel and SIDRA Intersection modeling techniques.
  • Prepare traffic and transportation impact assessments for private and public projects.
  • Conduct site inspections and gather information on road environments, traffic, and road safety observations.
  • Assess and provide design advice for intersection layouts, parking areas, and site access points.
  • Obtain and assess crash data to inform transportation planning decisions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience working within a transportation engineering capacity.
  • Familiarity with analytical software packages such as SIDRA.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience working in a consulting environment or local/state government.
  • Good working knowledge of best practice standards and legislation governing transportation infrastructure.
