Sunshine Coast Road Construction Specialist

High-demand roles are available in the Sunshine Coast for Civil Engineers with experience in road construction. We require candidates who can commit to approximately 1-2 years of assignments, with potential ongoing extensions and other projects.

Responsibilities
  • Sub-contractor management
  • Coordinate closely with project engineers
  • Monitor and record project progress
  • Collaborate with all stakeholders
Mandatory Experience
  • Minimum 3 years' post-graduate experience in civil construction of transport and road infrastructure projects for TMR Projects or similar roles.
  • Experience interpreting and applying policies, legislation, technical guidelines, practices, and procedures to relevant standards and specifications.
  • A stable career history with reputable civil contractors is essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required.
  • Hold relevant tickets and licenses.
  • Proactively contribute to health and safety obligations and initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Civil Engineering Degree or an equivalent qualification from a recognized tertiary institution, accepted by the Institution of Engineers Australia as a full member (MIEAust).

The proposed hours are nominally 40 per week, although more or fewer hours may be required due to project demands. The role is based in the Sunshine Coast area.
