Director of Energy Transition

This is an exceptional opportunity to be at the forefront of energy transition projects, playing a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of major Transmission & Distribution projects, including Renewable Energy Zones, 500kV Substations, and Overhead Transmission Lines.
You will provide strategic leadership for engineering during the tender phase of projects, fostering a collaborative culture within the engineering team and across the wider organization.
Main Responsibilities- Provide technical direction for engineering during project tenders.
- Cultivate a team-oriented environment within the engineering department and throughout the business.
- Select and collaborate with external design partners, building strong working relationships.
- Assign key personnel and conduct peer reviews and technical audits.
- Drive engineering's contribution to business growth, including developing client relationships.
- Lead staff development and training initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience as a Senior/Engineering Manager on major energy infrastructure projects (HV, Substations, Transmission Lines).
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g., BSc Engineering).
- CPEng or eligibility to obtain.
- Membership (or eligibility) with a relevant engineering institution (e.g., Engineers Australia).
