**Job Overview:**

Apartments and residential spaces require meticulous cleaning to maintain a high standard of hygiene. As a casual cleaner, you will be responsible for performing routine cleaning tasks, including but not limited to dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, kitchens, living rooms, and balconies.
  • Preparing vacant apartments for new residents by thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting all surfaces.
  • Collecting and disposing of trash.
  • Reporting any maintenance or repair issues observed during cleaning duties.

Qualifications include:

  • Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to follow cleaning schedules and routines.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality cleaning services.
  • Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and lift moderate weights.

**Benefits:**

This casual role offers flexible working hours with 20-30 hours per week expected. Competitive hourly rate: $25-$30 per hour. A driver's license is preferred, and work authorization for Australia is also preferred. Relocation to Kingston, ACT 2604 is required before starting work.
