Overview of the Role

This position involves contributing to a team that is responsible for managing risk and ensuring compliance with key internal and external requirements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing governance/assurance practices and Management of Change procedures to control value outcomes across various sectors.

Key deliverables include:

  • Developing and implementing effective governance/assurance practices and Management of Change procedures
  • Identifying and assessing risks, making informed decisions, and building a risk-aware culture
  • Collaborating with senior leaders to implement routines and changes that drive effective management of risks across all facets of operations
  • Utilizing tools to provide meaningful insights into performance against requirements and opportunities for improvement
  • Developing practical plans aligned to strategic objectives

The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, a background in safety, assurance, or risk management within the resources sector, and effective communication skills.
