Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic educator to join our team at Malvern Campus. This role involves enhancing student learning and wellbeing by developing and implementing teaching strategies that cater to diverse needs and strengths.

This is a full-time permanent position based at Malvern Campus. The ideal candidate will play a key part in developing and implementing engaging learning outcomes and strategies for the lower primary years.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to enhance student learning.
  • Experience working with lower primary years from Prep – Year 2.
  • Apply knowledge of students' physical social and intellectual development and characteristics to improve student learning.
  • Use ICT effectively to make content relevant and meaningful.
  • Develop and use assessment strategies to evaluate student learning.
  • Participate in professional development targeted to school priorities.
  • Model the values and behaviors of our institution.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Relevant experience as a generalist classroom teacher with sound understanding of teaching principles in primary years.
  • Experience with IB PYP Program an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal skills inspiring children.
  • Commitment to evidence-based practice and ongoing professional development.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills.
  • VIT registration and relevant teaching qualifications.
