About the Roles

Two roles are available, requiring travel between clients' homes to provide care and support. The roles involve performing household tasks, preparing meals, cleaning kitchens and bathrooms, providing social support, and monitoring client wellbeing.

Both roles require applicants to have or be willing to obtain a valid Australian driver's licence, current First Aid and CPR certifications, Working with Children Check (Employee), National Police Check, up-to-date vaccinations, and full Australian working rights.

Requirements for Home Care Worker Role

Applicants for the Home Care Worker role must also possess a Certificate III or IV in Individual Support or equivalent qualification.

Job Description

Home Care Domestic Support:

  • Performing household tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, laundry, and tidying
  • Preparing light meals and assisting with grocery shopping
  • Cleaning kitchens, bathrooms, and shared living areas
  • Providing social support and transport to appointments and community activities
  • Monitoring client wellbeing and promptly reporting any concerns
  • Respecting each client's preferences, cultural background, and values
  • Maintaining a clean and comfortable environment

Home Care Worker:

  • Assisting with personal care such as showering, grooming, toileting, and mobility
  • All the responsibilities listed above for Home Care Domestic Support
