This is a fantastic opportunity to secure employment with a rapidly expanding and essential support service. As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide direct support to people in their day-to-day living, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
We are seeking experienced Disability Support Workers to join our team in Tamworth NSW. You will provide quality 24/7 care in supported independent living accommodation settings, assisting customers with domestic and personal care assistance, and helping them access and connect with the community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing direct support to people with disabilities in their day-to-day living.
- Assisting customers with domestic and personal care assistance.
- Helping customers access and connect with the community.
- Working shift work, regular sleepovers/active nights, weekends, and public/school holidays.
- Developing positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Using computers and learning various software/programs.
Requirements:
- Experience working as a Disability Support Worker.
- Strong communication skills and ability to develop positive relationships.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Resilience and confidence in a fast-paced environment.
- Current Australian Driver's Licence and Smart Phone.
- NDIS Workers Screen Check prior to commencement.
