Working as a long haul driver can be a great opportunity for those who enjoy being on the road.

The job involves driving doubles or triples, delivering general freight or dangerous goods to various locations in WA, being away from home for 3-5 days at a time, working up to 14 hours per day.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:

  • A current and active MC licence
  • Proven experience driving double or triples with general freight or oil tankers
  • A dangerous goods ticket (preferable but not essential)
  • Experience operating Automatic or Road Ranger gearboxes
  • Must have strapping or chain experience
  • Able to work weekdays and weekends (where required)
  • A current drivers medical
  • WA Fatigue certificate
  • Mine site experience preferred but not essential
