Freight Hauler

Mammoth Contracting is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods and materials to various projects or destinations.

• Pick up and transport goods efficiently, adhering to safety protocols.
• Ensure timely completion of scheduled runsheets and maintain accurate delivery records.
• Drive safely, following all laws and regulations to ensure a healthy work environment.
• Maintain company trucks in good condition, with proper fuel, oil, and road compliance.
• Perform yard work as required, including deliveries and forklift operation.
• Complete consignment notes and POD receipts, communicating with business owners daily.
• Adhere to strict fatigue and safety procedures, updating the office on any issues or concerns.
• Follow scheduled jobs as per provided runsheets, maintaining communication with management regarding damage to customer or company property.
• Provide excellent customer service, maintaining a solid understanding of fatigue management.

• Hold a valid MR/HR Driving License with at least 5 years of experience.
• Previous experience working in a sensitive freight environment is essential.
• Possess a positive disposition, high personal standards, and be a flexible team player.
• Have excellent communication skills, be well-presented, and possess productive/solution-minded work habits.
• Be willing to contribute and learn, with multi-skilled experience in the construction industry preferred.
• Reliability, motivation, and a positive attitude are crucial for this role.
• Working rights are required for this position, operating out of Southern River and transporting goods to various sites in the metropolitan area.
