Medical Indemnity Insurance Product Manager

The role of the Medical Indemnity Insurance Product Manager is to oversee the entire product management process for Avant's medical indemnity insurance products.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive product strategy that aligns with business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of product launches and ongoing product maintenance.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges affecting the product portfolio.
  • Design and deliver training programs to stakeholders to enhance their understanding of product offerings and features.
  • Manage the development and implementation of product enhancements and updates to improve member engagement and satisfaction.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to inform product decisions and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Product Design and Development: Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the company's medical indemnity insurance products, including their features, benefits, and limitations.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, including underwriters, sales teams, and marketing professionals.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate product information, changes, and enhancements to various audiences, including members, customers, and employees.
  • Problem-Solving: Analyze and resolve complex product-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
Requirements:
  • Insurance or related field experience (e.g., banking, financial services) in a technical role such as underwriting, broking, product, or legal.
  • Proven success in writing and maintaining claims-made policies.
  • Strong change management experience with excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills.
  • Demonstrated understanding of a legal or compliance environment within the insurance field.
  • Ability to develop business cases supporting new product concepts incorporating member/customer perspective.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
