UFS Healthcare is a values-driven healthcare provider with a strong social purpose.

We operate 19 pharmacies across western Victoria and offer a range of health services through our four medical centres.

We provide non-emergency medical care free of charge to our local community via the Ballarat Urgent Care Clinic.

Job Description

The Dispensary Technician will support Pharmacists in the day-to-day operations of the Dispensary, delivering high-quality customer service and ensuring a positive experience for patients and customers.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting Pharmacists in dispensing medication and managing inventory.
  • Providing excellent customer service and responding to patient inquiries.
  • Managing workload effectively and prioritizing tasks.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to achieve team goals.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Qualified Dispensary Technicians will have completed a Pharmacy Dispensary Skillet Certificate and/or Certificate IV in Community Pharmacy (Dispensary).

Previous experience working in a dispensary setting is highly desirable.

Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing, are essential for this role.
