Senior Audit Manager, Tech and Cyber Lead

As the internal audit function for the Group, Group Audit and Assurance (GA&A) provides independent and objective assurance of the effectiveness of the Groups risk management, controls and governance processes.
To achieve this, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Audit Manager to join our Technology and Cybersecurity audit team. This team provides coverage over the technology portfolio as well as critical projects and IT suppliers across the Bank.
In this role, you will be responsible for cultivating a dynamic environment that enables focus on key issues and the details that come with it. You will contribute to high-quality audit reports focused on the Group's technology and cybersecurity controls, and aid our stakeholders to make a difference to their business and protect the Group and our customers.
We're looking for someone who possesses a strong understanding and experience in risk or internal or external audit covering key technology and processes/controls relating to payments.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Overseeing effective and efficient planning and delivery of audits
- Assisting the Executive Manager in building a dynamic, risk-based Audit Plan to capture key and emerging risks
- Interviewing IT process walkthroughs to understand and risk assess the business' risk and control environment
- Solving problems by applying innovative thinking and actively participating in processes to capture and act on innovation ideas
- Drafting issues and agreeing the factual accuracy and ratings with stakeholders
- Supporting the Executive Manager in preparing simple, pragmatic, and easy-to-read audit reports and issue logs
We're interested in hearing from people who have
- 7+ years auditing or relevant experience
- Experience in auditing cloud-based environments
- Professional qualifications in auditing and/or Information Technology
