Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development of Religious Education within a vibrant Catholic school community.

Main Responsibilities
  • Promote and uphold the Catholic culture, identity, and mission of the school, supporting the Principal and Parish Priest in their roles.
  • Represent the school and teaching profession in the wider community, fostering strong relationships with local parish groups.
  • Drive the creation of a shared vision focused on delivering high-quality educational experiences and outcomes for students.
Key Requirements
  • A committed Catholic with a strong sense of community involvement.
  • Demonstrated understanding of Catholic Education philosophy and theology.
  • Ability to ensure staff incorporate key concepts and methodologies in Religious Education teaching.
Essential Qualifications
  • Four-year trained teacher classification with at least four years' successful teaching experience aligned with Australian Professional Standards for Teachers.
  • NESA Teacher Accreditation.
  • Working with Children Clearance number.
