Role Overview

Research at Icon Group is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Coordinator to join our team at the Icon Cancer Centre, Wesley. As a valued member of our research team, you will play a crucial role in the coordination and conduct of clinical trials in Oncology and Haematology.

About the Role

As a Clinical Research Coordinator, you will provide high-level support to Icon Principal Investigators, manage and conduct the clinical trial portfolio, and ensure that clinical research is conducted in accordance with Good Clinical Practice and Icon policies. You will also contribute to the financial management of the business unit and communicate effectively with trial participants.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level support to Icon Principal Investigators in the conduct and day-to-day management of clinical trials.
  • Manage and conduct the clinical trial portfolio, including trial coordination, recruitment, participant and team member education, and communication.
  • Ensure that clinical research is conducted in accordance with Good Clinical Practice, the NHMRC National Statement, and Icon policies.
  • Contribute to the financial management of the business unit to ensure trial participants are tracked, and patient payment data is submitted in a timely fashion.
  • Communicate effectively with trial participants to ensure trial-related procedures are booked appropriately and compliance to attendance for trial visits is maintained.
About You

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented individual with relevant research experience who can independently solve problems and build rapport with various stakeholders through strong effective communication. You will have the ability to manage your workflow and contribute to the growth and development of our research team.
