As an advanced care physician at a tertiary healthcare facility, you will play a vital role in managing complex patients and contributing to the hospital's ICU team.
About the RoleWe are seeking experienced physicians with prior consultant experience to fill key positions on our team. A primary requirement is skills and experience in the provision of ECMO and interest in neurocritical care.
You will participate in interdisciplinary collaboration to manage critically ill patients, provide supervision and support for junior medical staff, department management and leadership, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives to maintain high clinical standards.
The ideal candidate will possess broad skills and experience in:
- Interdisciplinary collaboration to manage critically ill patients
- Provision of supervision and support for junior medical staff, including CICM trainees
- Department management and leadership
- Quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives to maintain high clinical standards
- MBBS or equivalent qualification
- AHPRA registration
- Fellowship of CICM
- Recent experience in neurocritical care
- Skills and experience in ECMO provision and management
- Ongoing participation in CICM or equivalent CPD program
