About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a skilled and experienced Trainer Assessor to deliver high-quality training to disadvantaged learners and non-English speakers. The successful candidate will have a strong background in vocational education and training, with a focus on foundation skills and language literacy and numeracy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver training programs to students with varying levels of language, literacy, and numeracy skills
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to improve learning outcomes
  • Develop and implement training materials to meet contract requirements
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a student-centered approach
  • Conduct pre-training assessments to identify learning barriers and develop strategies to overcome them
Requirements
  • TAE50122 Diploma of Vocational Education and Training
  • Specialist adult Language Literacy and Numeracy qualification or TESOL qualification preferred
  • Demonstrated expertise in delivery and assessment of foundation skills, using the ACSF or equivalent
  • Digital literacy skills and the capacity to train others in this area
  • Strong knowledge of the VET sector and the National Standards for RTOs (2015)
  • Excellent skills in training facilitation and assessment within vocational area
  • Current Drivers' License and ability to travel across the region
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • National Police Check and Right to work Check
