About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Training and Assessment Specialist to join our Technical Training team at Essential Energy.

As a Training and Assessment Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality training and assessment programs to support our apprentice and regulatory compliance programs.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and delivering training programs in the classroom and workplace environments
  • Conducting Verification of Competency (VOC) assessments and reporting outcomes
  • Contributing to the development of training resources and programming of work
  • Ensuring compliance with Registered Training Organisation (RTO) requirements and Australian Skills Authority (ASQA) standards

About You

We are looking for a dynamic and people-focused individual who is passionate about the energy industry and committed to delivering best practice training and assessment programs.

You will need to have a strong understanding of vocational education and training (VET) contractual requirements, ASQA standards, and RTO regulations.

Required Qualifications

  • Work Cover NSW Construction Induction Certificate
  • Certificate III ESI - Distribution, Cable Jointing or Electrotechnology qualification
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and/or relevant qualifications
  • Senior First Aid
  • Driver's Licence

Desirable

  • Cert IV in Frontline Management or equivalent
  • EWP
  • Dogging
  • Forklift
