The role of an Enrolled Nurse in aged care involves delivering high-quality care to elderly residents while assisting with daily activities and health management.
This part-time position requires working 30 hours per fortnight with shifts from 3:00pm to 8:00pm, Thursday to Saturday across various residential facilities in the Northern Suburbs.
As an experienced Enrolled Nurse, you will provide essential nursing support and work closely with the healthcare team to ensure residents' comfort, safety, and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:- Implement aspects of the nursing care plan delegated by the registered nurse
- Contribute to the nursing assessment of individuals and groups
- Assist in evaluating progress toward expected outcomes
- Protect the rights of older persons
- Demonstrate successful interpersonal skills
- Diploma in Enrolled Nursing
- Registration with APHRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency)
- NDIS Screen Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Class C driver's licence and own reliable vehicle
