Primary Teacher Job Description
  • Teach French as a second language to primary students, demonstrating exemplary teaching practices and setting a high standard for student engagement and achievement in language learning.
  • Contribute to curriculum design, teaching strategies, and assessment practices that meet the academic standards of our school.
  • Foster collaboration and a commitment to continuous improvement in language teaching.
  • Ensure that the French curriculum meets the requirements of the Australian Curriculum for French as a second language, promoting student-centred learning and language acquisition.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of language acquisition theories and pedagogical practices for teaching French to non-native speakers. They will also have experience in curriculum implementation and excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
