Job Title: Cyber Security Professor
About the OpportunityWe are seeking a passionate academic to contribute to teaching and research in Cyber Security at a leading university.
This role involves leading innovative research, publishing in top-tier venues, securing independent funding, and collaborating with industry and interdisciplinary teams across the institution.
The successful candidate will join a world-class Cyber Security research group, teach at undergraduate and graduate levels, and engage with industry and government partners to drive impactful advancements in the field.
- Teach subjects to a high standard for students in Bachelors and Masters programs;
- Conduct lectures and tutorials at undergraduate and postgraduate level;
- Develop and innovate high-quality subject materials and delivery;
- Conduct high-quality scholarly research in Cyber Security;
- Build and foster partnerships with industry, government, and other collaborators;
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering high-quality learning experiences for students;
- Conducting research in Cyber Security and publishing in top-tier venues;
- Securing independent funding and collaborating with industry and academia;
Requirements
We are looking for a collaborative and adaptable researcher with a strong track record in Cyber Security, excellent communication skills, and the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders.
- A PhD in computer science, software engineering, or information systems (or relevant discipline);
- A track record of quality research in Cyber Security as evidenced by publications in leading peer-reviewed conferences or journals;
Working Requirements
The successful candidate must undergo and maintain an up-to-date Working with Children Check. Visa sponsorship is available for this position.
