About the Opportunity:We are seeking highly skilled civil, structural, geotechnical, and hydraulic engineers to fill key leadership roles in our team.
HDR offers a dynamic work environment that accommodates current health guidelines. You will have opportunities to work on various projects and contribute to the development of our technical capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide strategic direction for engineering teams working on complex dam, levee, and flood resilience projects
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Contribute to the development of business proposals and pitches
- Mentor and guide junior staff members
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, Geotechnical, or Hydraulic Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in dam, levee, and flood resilience engineering
- Strong knowledge of potential failure mode analysis and stability models
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Master's degree in Civil, Structural, Geotechnical, or Hydraulic Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Experience working on large-scale infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with PLAXIS, SLOPE, SEEP, APILE, LPILE, GROUP, SETTLE3D, SHAKE, FEMA, FLAC, LSDYNA software
