
Dam and Levee Resilience Program Manager

We are looking for highly skilled engineers to lead our dam, levee, and flood resilience programs.
Job Description:HDR is seeking experienced professionals to provide technical leadership on complex projects aimed at improving the resiliency, sustainability, and safety of communities. Engineers will work as project managers, group managers, or technical practice leaders on projects that enhance the quality of life for residents and businesses.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement project plans, budgets, and schedules to ensure successful project delivery
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify potential risks and opportunities
- Conduct site visits, inspections, and assessments to inform project decisions
- Maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members to drive project success
Engineers will be responsible for managing complex projects from start to finish, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This role requires excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, as well as experience working with software such as PLAXIS, SLOPE, SEEP, APILE, LPILE, GROUP, SETTLE3D, SHAKE, FEMA, FLAC, LSDYNA.
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, Geotechnical, or Hydraulic Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in dam, levee, and flood resilience engineering
- Proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with relevant software packages
