Mechanical Technicians

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician to join our team on a permanent full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, testing, and maintenance of mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive testing, commissioning, and maintenance of mechanical systems.
  • Develop and implement efficient mechanical isolations of ship equipment and systems.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of test, maintenance, and set-to-work activities using relevant digital tools.
  • Collaborate with technical leads to execute the technical program.
About the Role:
  • The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in commissioning and/or maintenance of mechanical systems.
  • Familiarity with hydraulic systems and/or mechanical elements of propulsion systems is highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience in testing, commissioning, and verification of systems.
  • A minimum Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical or an equivalent/higher industry-recognised mechanical qualification is required.
